About Tami Jared, Educator

In addition to being the director of B2B sales for VitasupportMD, Tami Jared is also an independent compression therapy consultant with over 27 years of experience in the vascular compression field. 

Tami first began her career as a template engineer for the manufacture of burn and vascular gradient compression garments, and by observing firsthand how compression therapy helped patients manage and overcome pain, Tami was inspired to become a Certified Orthotic Fitter. Shortly thereafter, Tami graduated from the Boston School of Advanced Compression with a certification in advanced compression therapy. This allowed her the opportunity to help patients in both hospital and outpatient settings while at the same time, learn about the different medical conditions that can afflict patients, such as lymphedema. It was this particular disorder that motivated Tami to obtain a Certification in Manual Lymph Drainage Therapy from the Academy of Lymphatic Studies.

 Tami’s career also includes experience in sales and marketing for durable medical equipment providers, and managerial skills as a manager of The Toledo Clinic.
