Miguel J. Brito

Prior to joining VitasupportMD, Mr. Brito had a long and illustrious career in education at many levels. He grew up in Southeastern Massachusetts where he was surrounded by caring adults and a nurturing community. This led him down the path to education which took him ultimately to the C-Suite Executive level. Miguel recently retired as CEO of Philip’s Education Partners, a non-profit organization which provides support for educational and life programming to “urban youth in underserved cities.” Miguel led St. Philip’s Academy in Newark through its most significant period of growth in enrollment including the construction of a $24 million state-of-the facility now owned debt free. In his 20 years of leading the Philip’s family he has raised over $83,000,000 aimed at transforming the lives of deserving urban children. Miguel oversaw the conversion of St. Philip’s Academy to a charter school as Lead Founder and Executive Director in 2013 and became Lead Founder and Executive Director of Philip’s Academy in Paterson in 2016.
Miguel earned his M.A. in Colonial African History at Goddard College and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Latin American History from the University of Massachusetts. Miguel currently resides in South Orange, NJ where he is the proud father of three children, all adopted from Guatemala and owner of three Labrador Retrievers. He is intent on helping VitasupportMD to grow in the coming years so that the company can reach its full potential in providing dietary supplement support to those in need of care. He also aims to expand our philanthropic programs wherever possible.
